Transition services are handled by Michigan Rehabilitation Services (MRS) in partnership with the Ottawa County Intermediate School District and local schools. The MRS transition team is made up of:
Joellen Hoogerwerf, Vocational Rehabilitation Counselor- Joellen is the counselor in charge of Transition Services at MRS in Holland. Joellen has three Transition Assistants working in the OAISD schools:
Shelly Millen- Shelly works with Zeeland East/West, Hudsonville, Wavercrest Career Academy, and Holland High School.
Brenda Overway- Brenda works with Allendale, Coopersville, Grand Haven, Spring Lake and Jenison High School.
Julie Zeller- Julie works with Black River, Hamilton, West Ottawa North/South, Holland Christian and Saugatuck High School.
